Our Vision: SuperVitaminOutlet aspires to be recognized by our customers as the best Internet source for health products that is also a business that is aligned with values that are not based on corporate profits and stockholder returns. We further aspire to be recognized for operating in a way that creates an environment of positive energy and fulfillment for our customers, our community, our employees and us.

The foundation for the SuperVitaminOutlet (SVO) goes back to 1992, when Rene Maas and Jim Sasser started Appleseed Health Foods. A few years later Jim teamed up with Richard Warren to build the original VitaminOutlet website which evolved into the current site. Jim eventually left to pursue other business opportunities, and although Richard moved he still provides expert technical support to this day. Tammy Ecker has been with Appleseed and SVO since the beginning and took care of SVO customers for years before becoming the Buyer for Appleseed. Your orders are now handled primarily by Jessica and Kurt (Rene's daughter and husband respectively) with support from Rene, Tammy, Lisa, and Maxine.
